Ueshiba developed Aikido as a non-competitive martial art that focused on refining the human body, mind and spirit through physical forms called kata.  Enmeshing with an opponent's ener

Ueshiba developed Aikido as a non-competitive martial art that focused on refining the human body, mind and spirit through physical forms called kata.  Enmeshing with an opponent's energy and using their movements against their physical and mental balance, rather than relying on brute force or aggression, is one of the hallmarks of Aikido. Because of that the practice of Aikido continues to be relevant in modern times. It can improve one's quality of life and can be practiced by all age groups.

Through rigorous physical training and mental conditioning, we aim to instill in our students the values of perseverance, integrity, and honor.
